Description

Human Capital Business Solutions Ltd is an HR Consulting Firm that specializes in Strategic HR Advisory, Talent Acquisition & Development, Risk Management and Business Process Outsourced Services with our Headquarters based in Uganda and Country Office in Tanzania.

We are currently looking for a Business Development Trainee to join team. The BDT will be pivotal in generating new business opportunities by identifying and qualifying potential clients. As a BDT, you will be the prospects' initial point of contact, effectively articulating our HR consulting services and building a strong sales pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  1. Research and identify potential clients through various channels, including online research, social media, and industry events.
  2. Conduct outbound lead generation activities such as prequalification, cold calling, email outreach, and personalized messaging to nurture prospects.
  3. Developing & running prospecting strategies
  4. Engage with prospects to understand their HR challenges, needs, and objectives.
  5. Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and prioritize opportunities for the sales team.
  6. Initiate strategic partnerships and business opportunities to enhance the company's market presence.
  7. Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth areas and target markets.
  8. Cultivate strong client relationships, and address inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  9. Analyze sales data and marketing metrics to evaluate performance and prepare regular reports for management.
  10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  11. Plan and participate in industry-specific conferences, and events to showcase services and network with potential clients.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. Graduation within the past 2 years.
  3. Good communication in English
  4. Agile and passionate about business development work
  5. Good at execution and computer Skills (MS. Excel & PowerPoint)

Desirable

  1. Active Listening: Understand and respond to questions and client needs.
  2. Communication Skills: Clear communication.
  3. Persuasion and Negotiation: Persuade and negotiate terms.
  4. Problem-solving: Address client needs and objections.
  5. Relationship Building: Build trust and long-term relationships.
